Door Creek Park Shelter

The Door Creek Park Shelter is a new 4,000 SF, multi-season facility located at 7035 Littlemore Drive on Madison’s far east side. Developed in alignment with the Parks Division’s master plan, it enhances community space and provides a year-round venue for neighborhood and city-wide events.

The shelter includes a 100-person indoor event space, a covered outdoor area, prep kitchen, public restrooms, equipment rental storage, and a garage for park maintenance. Rooftop solar panels support the building’s energy needs. The project is targeting LEED v4 certification through energy-efficient systems, water-saving fixtures, and sustainable materials, highlighting a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and occupant health.
