Froedtert Hospital Parking “Blue” Structure

As part of Froedtert Hospital’s ongoing campus redevelopment, the new Parking Structure 1—replacing the former “Blue” structure—supports the hospital’s long-term vision for enhanced patient access and expanded care services. Designed to accommodate more than 2,400 vehicles, the multi-level facility was constructed using a cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete system, allowing for future vertical expansion as campus needs evolve.

The new parking structure connects directly to the hospital’s future patient tower and new main lobby via a planned pedestrian bridge, providing a seamless experience for patients and visitors. Prioritizing both safety and efficiency, the structure features ADA-compliant parking on multiple levels, improved lighting, and a modern surveillance system. A new entry off N. 87th Street and updated circulation routes further enhance traffic flow and accessibility across the campus.
