The Playing Field

Completed for The Playing Field, this 15,000 square-foot Early Learning Lab transformed a former Menards retail store on Madison’s east side into a state-of-the-art early childhood education and training facility. The project advanced The Playing Field’s mission of providing equitable, high-quality early education and family support—regardless of socioeconomic background.

The expansion allowed The Playing Field to serve an additional 100 children, while also offering on-site career training for early educators through partnerships with The Road Home and Plumber’s Union Local 75. The facility served as both a preschool and a professional development center.
