Green County Family YMCA

The Green County Family YMCA, now renamed the Colony Brands Green County Family YMCA, underwent a major expansion made possible by a transformative gift from Colony Brands. This 60,000-square-foot addition significantly enhances the YMCA’s ability to serve families across Green County.

Key features of the expansion include a new Childcare Center accommodating up to 86 children ages four and under, and a Youth Development Center offering afterschool and summer programming for children ages five to twelve. The project also introduced a Healthy Living Center equipped with fitness equipment for adults, three fitness studios and an ADA-accessible indoor track designed to maximize natural light. A new Kids Zone provides up to 90 minutes of drop-in care, supporting family participation in wellness activities.

This expansion reflects the YMCA’s commitment to delivering inclusive, community-focused services that promote health, development and wellness for all ages.
