CG SCHMIDT’S MIKE ABULS NAMED AGC OF GREATER MILWAUKEE PRESIDENT

The 35-year industry veteran has been tapped to lead the 97-year old Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee.

Milwaukee – CG Schmidt Executive Vice President, Mike Abuls, has been named the 2020 President of the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee. Founded in 1913, the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee is the leading commercial construction association serving the needs of contracting professionals throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. Providing professional services in education, career development, safety and networking opportunities, AGC members connect with industry leaders through advanced programs and professional services. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors as Senior Vice President.

Mike Abuls began his career in the construction industry more than 35 years ago, spending the last 21 of them with CG Schmidt. He has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CG Schmidt since 2006. Throughout his career, Mike has directly managed more than 50 million square-feet of new commercial, industrial, and institutional building space. As CG Schmidt’s Chief Operating Office, Mike has initiated and deployed innovative new quality, safety, lean, and project management standards to CG Schmidt’s processes. Mike oversaw the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons, and 833 East Michigan high-rise projects in downtown Milwaukee.
