The Gilbane I CG Schmidt joint venture team provided construction management services for the Northwestern Mutual Tower & Com­mons project. This 1.1 million-square-foot mega project stands at 32-stories tall (550 feet), with a 3-story common space area. The project team, in partnership with Northwestern Mutual and Hines, far exceeded the 40% RPP and 25% SBE requirement respectively – helping provide jobs to under-employed Milwaukee residents and Wisconsin-based minority and small business-owned companies. This project will forever change the landscape of downtown Milwaukee, bringing 1,900 new jobs to the city.
