CG Schmidt firmly believes in supporting the communities in which we live and work. Every year CG Schmidt sets aside a percentage of earnings for a philanthropic budget. This budget covers company and employee involvement with several charitable causes as well as in-house initiatives that encourage employees and other companies to get involved in their community.
Some of the most recent and notable philanthropic initiatives include the introduction of HERO time (Helping Everyone Reach Out) to the staff. HERO time allows employees to volunteer during work hours with pay and without dipping into their paid time off.
